RESEARCH QUESTION: To what extent has globalization, particularly following as a result of the International Trade Liberalization under WTO agreements since the 1990s, contributed to economic inequality across countries and within societies?
This project concludes that globalization has contributed to economic inequality to a significant and measurable extent, both across countries and within societies, largely due to the way international economic rules have been designed and implemented since the 1990s. Key global decisions, particularly the creation of the World Trade Organization and the binding nature of trade liberalization commitments, produced a structural shift in the global economy that favored countries and groups with pre-existing economic and institutional advantages. The transition from flexible trade cooperation to legally enforceable liberalization obligations marked a decisive change in global economic governance. While some economies successfully leveraged these rules to industrialize and integrate into global markets, many others experienced stagnation or unequal growth, widening income gaps between states. At the domestic level, the same international decisions accelerated income concentration by rewarding capital mobility and high skill sectors while weakening the bargaining power of low skill labor in open markets. The resulting economic drift toward export dependence, financial integration, and global supply chains reshaped national economies unevenly, deepening inequality where regulatory capacity and redistributive policies were weak. Therefore, globalization has contributed to inequality not merely through market forces, but through international choices embedded in law and institutions. Addressing this requires reforming global trade and investment frameworks, strengthening national social protections, and ensuring that future international economic decisions prioritize equitable development.

ABSTRACT: The following project report aims to cover the distribution of metals in the Earth’s layers with special emphasis on the Indian Plate segment underlying the State of Manipur, Union of India. Specifically, it situates Manipur within the Indo Myanmar (Indo Burman) Ranges, an active fold thrust belt formed by the oblique convergence of the Indian Plate against the Burma terrane and explains how this tectonic setting concentrates mineralization in ophiolitic and associated sedimentary sequences. Although “continental shelf” is an offshore term, Manipur sits upon continental crust of the Indian Plate where slices of ancient oceanic lithosphere are tectonically emplaced; these ophiolites host chromite, nickel cobalt and allied ultramafic minerals, while adjacent sedimentary basins relate to hydrocarbons. The report couples geological detail with India’s mining law and environmental clearance regime so that scientific findings translate into lawful, sustainable extraction.

OxyGenX aims to revolutionize global reforestation efforts by integrating advanced genetic engineering with automated drone-based seed deployment. The project seeks to increase the survival rate of trees planted in extreme environments, reduce the overall cost of reforestation projects, and enhance carbon sequestration efficiency through genetic modifications. This approach directly contributes to combating desertification, restoring biodiversity, and mitigating climate change through large-scale afforestation. Additionally, by focusing on non-invasive, biodegradable seed dispersal mechanisms, the project ensures ecological compatibility while reducing harmful environmental impacts associated with traditional planting techniques.
At the core of OxyGenX lies an interdisciplinary synthesis of genetic engineering, precision aerodynamics, and ecological restoration science. The project employs the CRISPR-Cas9 genome-editing system to make precise modifications in selected tree species. By designing specific guide RNA sequences, CRISPR-Cas9 targets genes that regulate drought response, photosynthetic efficiency, and carbon fixation. For instance, upregulating ABA-responsive genes improves drought tolerance, while enhancing chloroplast function and modifying the RuBisCO enzyme can boost photosynthetic rates and CO₂ fixation.

Research Paper: Probability of Quantum Tunnelling by Cell Organelles Across Different Types of Cells
Self Publication Pre-Print · Jan 12, 2025
This research paper talks about the chances of organelles present in cells to exhibit a quantum phenomenon, tunnelling. The paper does this by first establishing the conditions on how tunnelling is possible, followed by finding wave functions for each organelle. Besides this, the paper finds the potential gradient as well as the width of the different cell boundaries in different cells. Following this, the paper goes on to define a new function, MUN(), which the paper uses to calculate the joint probability of the tunnelling of an organelle from one cell to another. At last, the paper concludes by finding the probability of each organelle to tunnel through every possible combination of cells in terms of the mass of the organelle, energy present in the organelle and the nature of the cell boundaries of the cells which are the parties to the common event of quantum tunnelling. While doing this, the paper clearly adopts and defines multiple assumptions, and produces the research in a way where the assumptions can be removed and added in as an external factor while giving out the conclusive part of the research paper.

Research Paper: The Ability of the Poor Sections of Society to Escape Their Various Financial Problems in India
medium.com · Sep 24, 2024
ABSTRACT: This paper talks about the poor sections of Indian society and their ability to escape their various financial situations. The paper establishes two separation lines by definition to divide society into three parts for careful analysis. The lines are set at annual income of one lakh and fifteen lakh respectively. The paper analyses the income, spending and saving of the different zones retrieved from the two-line division. The paper also analyses methods to grow economically and determines that finding time to upskill yourself is the prime requirement for growing out of your economic bracket. The paper also determines that both zone one and zone two ultimately can not get enough time to upskill, hence, are trapped in a vicious cycle. Finally, the paper suggests that employers must provide for upscaling of their employees on a regular basis, and it to be made an obligation.

Independent Report: General Elections in Haryana 2024
medium.com · May 29, 2024
At the expiration of a five-year interval, a recurring occasion has arisen. It is the juncture wherein the citizenry of India is enjoined by duty to exercise their franchise in the electoral process, a fundamental obligation enshrined in our constitutional framework. Specifically pertinent to the state of Haryana, this obligation crystallized on the 25th of May, 2024. A concerted appeal was made to the entirety of the state’s populace to emerge from their residences and participate in the act of voting for this was the only chance they’d get in a long-long while. The electoral candidates accorded significant value to each ballot cast, perceiving any abstention as a forfeiture of potential support to their aims.
I, Ikshit Sethi, am currently a Grade XI student on a 100% merit scholarship at Modern Delhi International School. I am committed to excelling in academics and extracurricular pursuits.
As Head Delegate of my school’s Model United Nations team, I lead my peers in representing our institution at conferences. I have participated in over 65 conferences and presided over 15 as a member of the executive board. My interests in law include the United States Constitution, constitutional litigation and international law. I have authored research papers and legal analyses addressing issues across science, society and public policy.
